One of the biggest mistakes that people make when it comes to the Law of Attraction is not properly detaching from their desires and manifestations. If we do not let go once we set an intention, then we create resistance that makes it difficult for the Universe to bring that intention into fruition.

Luckily for us, there are so many ways that we can practice detachment and letting go. Today, I want to talk about one of the easiest ways that I have found to detach from manifestations and bring them into our reality without unnecessary stress and questioning: getting into Flow State.

What Is Flow State, Anyway?

Simply put, getting into Flow State is the same as getting “in the zone.” It is a state of mind where we are completely engrossed in the task at hand, existing totally in the present moment as everything else slips away and out of importance.

Flow State on its own is a great manifesting tool because it puts us in a naturally high vibrational state of mind and encourages mindfulness. In Flow, we are typically doing something that we are extremely passionate about, something we enjoy, or something that is challenging for us in a beneficial way, and we are existing solely in the present moment.


How Can We Enter Flow State?

The activities that put us into Flow State will vary person to person. Think of activities that “pump you up,” completely grab your attention, challenge you, and make you feel happy or accomplished.

For me, getting into Flow is best accomplished by going for a difficult hike, reading a great book, watching captivating movies, working on my business, being creative, cooking, having meaningful conversation with loved ones, and all of the other things I’m passionate about that make the rest of the world temporarily slip away.

For you, it might look like playing your favorite instrument, going hard at the gym, a fun night out on the town, playing video games, sports, or anything else that you can completely engross yourself in. The possibilities are endless! Just find what works for you and make a point of doing it often.


Using Flow State to Detach and Let Go

We all know that detaching from our desires, especially the ones we want the most, can be challenging. Once we have decided we want to manifest something into our lives, our minds can begin to think obsessively about the “how” and “when.” We wonder if it will be hard to accomplish and try to figure out what way it will come into our reality.

These thoughts, however, create a lot of resistance between us and our manifestations. They signal to the Universe that we do not trust it, so we have to figure these “problems” out on our own. These thoughts often leave us in a low vibrational state where we feel worried, impatient, and lacking.

All of these thoughts can be pushed out of our consciousness, though, by entering Flow State. In Flow, the only moment that exists is the present. We are not thinking about the past or the future, so we are not experiencing any stress. As our mind becomes completely fixated on the task at hand, it becomes impossible to overthink our manifestations. In fact, we temporarily forget about them completely! This creates more than enough space for the Universe to come in and do the work for us, bringing us what we want most when we aren’t feeling desperate for it.


Using Flow State for Powerful Intention Setting

We can also take advantage of Flow State when it comes to setting powerful intentions. In Flow, we have a clear mind are vibrating at a high level. This is the perfect time to set an intention out into the Universe!

This is how I do it. After being in Flow State for a while, I set an intention the very second my mind can focus on other things but while I still feel pumped-up from what I was doing. In this state, I know that my intention is strong, high vibrational, and easily received by the Universe.


I encourage all of you to find the things that help you enter Flow State, and make a point of doing them often. You should be entering Flow every day, and just trying to live more mindfully in general! After a while, detaching from your desires, trusting the Universe enough to let go, and reaching a point of high vibration every day will come naturally to you.
